I was somewhat interested until I found out that the premise of the world was that almost everything was destroyed except the human cultures and that Freeport (the cesspool of shit that it is) is some sort of sprawling metropolis.

I'd rather have seen one of the underdog races end up on top...trolls or gnomes or something. Humans bore me to tears, and the thought of Freeport being any bigger than it already is a sad thought.

I did watch it to completion and I personally think that they better be holding back a LOT because what they're showing just seems like more of the same ole, same ole ...with prettier pictures.

It seems odd to me that they have released very little as far as actual gameplay...you know that whole video was scripted. Makes me wonder why they are keeping everything such a big secret...dont see Blizzard doing that with WOW. I too would like to see that they arent just doing more of the same with prettier pictures....they really need to put out something new and substantial. One other thought....i think a lot more machines will be able to handle WOW without an upgrade....i think a lot of peeps will have to upgrade to get any kind of playability out of EQ 2...thats definatley in Blizzards favor.....just my 2 cents.
