Lately I've been getting the guild itch. I look around, and probably three out of four of the people I've become friends with in over 2 years of playing this game have joined Walkers.
I hear this voice in the back of my mind that says "Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated."
Tonight I went out to PoS and fought a miniboss and some giants. I look around, see Brieah, and Divall, and Bashdur, all with the Walkers tag over their heads. I note to my friends that this is the first time I've talked in /rsay since I died horribly to VS live, which was over a month ago. I notice that the Walkers are going to New and Interesting Places, places I've never been, and never really thought I'd ever see. A new thought comes to me.
Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.
I know most of you, have raided with a lot of you. I was there when Yecna got his wingblade. I remember making Pedi a suit of armor, many moons ago. I've kibitzed with Whiz over his tinkering, ooo'd over the sigs made by your various Sig Mistresses.
I'm not interested in finding a temporary home. I'm not looking for a place to level so I can run off and join CC in a few months. I'm looking for a home, a guild like the one I once belonged to, where everyone knows your name and you always feel welcome. After much internal debating and narrowing my short list from four guilds to one, I've come to the conclusion that Walkers is that place. It isn't a decision I take lightly, I assure you.
I write this in the hope that the folks I was once guilded with, as well as the Walkers of old, remember me fondly. I have a mouth, it tends to run off without consulting me. I can't deny it, it would be foolish to try, as so many of you know me so well. But from the opinions I've asked for and the things I've seen, this guild is one of good relationships, close feelings, and camaraderie. A place I can call home.
Resistance is futile. You will all be assimilated. Soon you will be dorfs. Pavel Cursebreaker 250 Smith My Magelo Profile _________________ Pavel

PAVEL! Heya bro! The only reason you didn't see me in POS too is because Team Brieah usually either kills me, or cybers me across zones! LOL
Nice to see you posting here.

Yes, Pavel was the reason why I showed up one day all decked out in red, turning quite a of your few heads! His generousity is the gift that keeps on giving -- he refused to charge me for the cultural smithing combines because we were in the Alliance and I've since passed on my armor to Venrick.
Classy guy all around. Was and still is an honor to know him! Pint-sized Pilot of the Pixel Army
