Looks like there's a new expansion they'll be promoting at E3 next month. My guess is that big continent to the west of Odus (see the thread on the Screenshot board) has an Asiatic feel to it.

It can be one of a few things.. One could be that they are working on class specific armors like they used to have on old models with Velious.. they did say they where working on fixing them.. or its just an early alpha look to new char models..

Since EQ launched took them 3 Xpacks to make new models.. so this next xpack will be the 6th one from the release.. so might be new models..

Or it could be an Asian iksar Samurai/Dragoon

Ranger's board is convinced its the new RTS game as well.

Edit: if you go to everquest.com you'll see 5 characters now.

Edit2: Apparently PoM revamp is almost done as well. Was done, but was sent back to be touched up because the lead designer didnt think it was finished yet.

Hmm...

1. Is PoM revamp going to Legends first exclusively?
2. Will it still be harder than hell to get to PoM or are they going to add a better way of getting there?

Long ago I heard they were moving PoM to EW where it was supposed to be originally. But havent heard that recently, so I assume the same spot, especially with NToV being alot easier to get to now than when Velious was released.

No clue about PoM revamp, but PoHate is definately Legends exclusive first, as will be Veskar I believe.

The pictures dont look like they would be replacing any graphics in EQ< they look more like warcraft 3 graphic, or diablo 2, 2-D ish, I dont know anything about technical stuff though=)
